Trip to Tahoe

Last week we were able to go to Tahoe camping. The kids and I went up on Thursday and stayed in a tent next to my parents who were in their motor home with Crista and her children. Brad and Fausto met up with us on Friday evening after work. It was lots of fun. The campsite had a large swimming pool and really fun playground for the kids -with a human hamster wheel! We spent many hours over the weekend literally running around in circles trying not to fall. On Saturday the whole family went biking along the lake-everyone on their own bike-with Ryan riding tandem with Brad. We also played at the beach and went for nature hikes.
Jessie's highlights: Hamster wheel, swimming and playing on the beach, Papa
Jared's highlights: Monopoly express game, roastin' and toastin' marshmellows, and mom and I set a record of 37 consecutive hits at ping pong.
Ryan's highlights: Playing tennis, riding the bike was very fun, ice cream cones and marshmellows too.
my favorite thing about the trip aside from a great time with all my family was sitting in the tent before bedtime with all the kids and singing spongebob songs as loud as we could for about an hour then laughing ourselves silly.
